The footwear label is tracing back to its heritage once again with the release of Champion Oxford. Sweden’s Denim Demon takes two avenues of inspiration to arrive at a single point for their Spring/Summer 2009 collection. A passion for authentic workwear and denim is fused with an interest in native “Sami” culture. Key product from the collection includes a denim Kolt, which essentially mixes classic workwear materials with a traditional “Sami” garment. On the denim side, Denim Demon has produced the Ren-on-hide, a 15.5 oz unsanforized denim complete with reindeer hide patch. The jeans are based on a 1930s Lee cut with green, white and blue narrow selvedge. The colors (green, white and blue) follow “Sami” culture and are a constant in the collection. Rather young brand Public School has caught our interest right from the beginning, when we first saw the collection at Capsule in New York. The smart addition of little details and interesting cuts made them stand out, without the use of color at all actually.

Actually they are pretty much exactly the Sk8 Hi’s and Lo’s. The hi top sneaker comes with denim side panels and the LV signature monogram design. The lo top sneaker is a little bit more subtle and features the monogram embossed.
