We have seen Ubiq sneakers with Batman imagery and now fellow Japanese brand Devilock has also worked in a small line-up of goods, featuring the action hero. The series consists of three hoodies, each coming in three colorways and featuring mostly large size Batman imagery. The hoodies are made for Batman fans, otherwise you can probably not pull it off.
The swagger crew give a peek into their upcoming collection for Spring/Summer 2009. As usual, the Japanese brand sets forth a strong tone of bold color choices and intricate patterns throughout the lineup. A healthy mix of denim is evident, highlighted by their outwear collection featuring a collaboration piece with The North Face. Developing a strong following with their clean wearable styles, pieces from Pointer’s 2009 spring/summer collection. Two of the models featured here include the Mathieson and Barajas. The Barajas features a low-profile sole in boot-like form, marked by different uses of materials to create a tonal division. Chapel Of Dawn, the sub-brand by Silly Thing and Juno, will be releasing two new stadium jackets. The jackets feature the Chapel Of Dawn logo on the chest and the “Come Together” graphic on the back. The graphic has been released last year on t-shirts and tote bags, originally created to raise money for last years earthquake victims. The stadium jackets come limited to 20 pieces in each colorway.
For the release of the new honeyee.mag Issue 7, the online magazine got together with Original Fake on a collaboration t-shirt. The t-shirt features the “X Eyes Stripe” design on the back and the new “circle teeth” design, which will be heavily coming in Spring/Summer 2009 from Original Fake. The tee comes in a black and a white colorway.

NoirBasic is playing in a tough town. Based out of Paris, arguably the holy land of all things fashion, the new line is looking break through in a very cut throat market. Looking at their varsity and leather jackets, shown above as part of their Summer 2009 preview, you can almost be sure they’re ready to rock. 
After all the hoopla surrounding his collaboration with prestigious fashion house Louis Vuitton, Kanye West unveils the first design of six from his upcoming sneaker collection. Taking a clean cut approach, the heralded Mr. West pushes out a very well executed deck shoe silhouette. Definitely a good sign of things to come.
High-end designer brand Dior Homme reveals a further look into sunglasses from their 2009 spring/summer runway show. Presented by Kris Van Assche, these are not your typical sunglass design as they have a futuristic/sci-fi look to it, adding to the eccentric collection of many other sunglasses out there. Italy’s Allegri line is re-focusing their production around a “new environmental awareness” which “reconcile[s] the demands of modernity with respect for nature.” The fabrics in the Allegri Spring/Summer 2009 collection for Allegri are built around “intellgent fibers” which create waterproof fabrics without the use of typical classic coatings. They idea is to reduce waste while keeping their technical wear breathable and wearable. Many of the Allegri outerwear looks are built to be worn in a variety of conditions. Sleeves as well as collars may be removed depending on the climate or choice of look. We applaud their re-focus on a greener world.
