Phillips-Van Heusen announced a string of executive promotions at its Calvin Klein Inc. subsidiary, starting with the elevation of Tom Murry from president and COO to president and CEO. The last CEO of Calvin Klein was cofounder Barry Schwartz.
Murry has been with Calvin Klein for more than 11 years, and has overseen its growth and integration into PVH since its acquisition in 2003.
“Under Tom’s leadership the Calvin Klein business has more than doubled in size to over $6 billion in global retail sales,” Emanuel Chirico, CEO of PVH, said in a statement.
Melisa Goldie has been promoted to EVP and chief creative officer of CRK Advertising, reporting to Murry. She was previously SVP, creative services for the division. In addition to the creative studio, print production, and broadcast production departments that report to her, she will now oversee the fashion office and global advertising departments.
Malcolm Carfrae has been elevated from SVP to EVP of global communications.
Additionally, the company said Ellen Rodriguez and Pamela Bradford were both promoted to new positions in July. Rodriguez was named EVP, global licensing and marketing, which she previously oversaw at just the domestic level. Bradford was promoted from SVP to EVP, general counsel.
