Danish Pavillion the latest project of BIG (in collaboration with Arup and 2+1) for 2010 EXPO in Shanghai, will give the visitors a chance to experience the best of Copenhagen, to achieve that, at the center of pavillion the big pool will be filled with fresh water from Copenhagen harbor, on which visitors can even swim. To bring it even closer to the visitors Copenhagen will send the famous little Mermaid statue temporarily to China! And with 1500 bicycles at the entrance you wont be taking your tour on foot, as Bjarke Ingels said “It is considerably more resource efficient moving The Little Mermaid to China, than moving 1.3 billion Chinese to Copenhagen”.
