Filippa K’s Spring/Summer 09 collection shows off its Scandinavian heritage with a surprisingly large amount of knitwear. Clearly designed to brace oneself for a cold summer, it would also make the collection quite useful for those who only have a month or so of actual sweltering heat. Heavy knits aside, There’s a movement towards pale shades as lavenders, blues and beiges dominate the collection. Piping also makes a big impact, with the detailing featuring on blazers and shirts.
