After an overwhelmingly successful bi-coastal exhibition in the United States, © Murakami, the retrospective of Japanese pop-artist Takashi Murakami, made landfall last weekend in Frankfurt, Germany, at Museum für Moderne Kunst (MMK). The exhibit will feature some 130+ works in a multitude of mediums from 1992 to 2000. All of which will be on view across all 3 levels of MMK. Essential to all the © Murakami exhibition, a mini-boutique with Murakami and Kaikai Kiki merchandises will be at the core of event. The exhibition will be on going till January 4th, 2009. From here it will travel to Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.
